Result and Last Day

I was not sure if i will return and show my output to them. But when i think about how i did that, the time and effort i spend, i stood up and prepared to go to hubport. When i got there i entered the Dev. Area again and i approach Ma'am Che and told her that i will just let her check my work because i cannot continue now for the reason that we are needed at the HRD for our presentation for the release of our certificates.
I went to use Ma'am Che's PC and setup my output for checking. Her PHP configuration is different from the default one that i use in mine. So my work did not run and i cannot access the XAMP. I turn to php configuration and change some config there. Then my work is showing, they checked my work and tried to check each. I got a passing result and they have given me some advice. They told me that what i did was exceptional for a day. smile smile smile. Picture2x mode and sung Zamboanga Hermosa. Wahhahah Bye2 Hubport.

BACKOUT?

My schedule for the try out was 4 p.m. Even though i have a graveyard shift, i went to hubport to take the try-out. I arrived at exactly 3:30(HPI time). And then pumasok ako sa HRD para kausapin si Ma'am Grace about the tryout and she made me fill up some papers for informations and told me to wait. She requested an account at the sysad to be used for tryout. When she came back she introduced me to Ma'am Cherilyn (.Net Expert) and i was given the task for the tryout. A guy from STI Davao is with Ma'am Che to give me the task. The task was to create a simple enrollment system with program manager, course manager, prospectus manager and student registration (1st year or all of them). Then i started my tryout, i have no time limit but the tryout was until tomorrow only.
I was looking for Ray, because he seems to be missing. He started 2 hours earlier than me. When i took a break i saw Emelie and ask her the where about of Ray. She said Ray backed out from the try out. I was so disappointed by his decision. I told my self that it was not the"not being ready" whats matter it was to know your limitation on programming. So you can improve the next time you took similar tryout. I started 4 pm and ended 4 am. in the morning the next day. It created 50 - 60 percent of the system and stopped there. I thought that i dont need to finish this because the other modules are of the same funtions and algorithm. I stopped and took a rest at the sysad because i was also on duty that night 11p.m. - 7 a.m. I hope that it is correct somehow... Tomorrow is the day then.

Tryout News?

Wah...Whats this? Try out na namen? 2 days na lang nga...?Pagka uwi nina marsila sinabi nila samin ang balita.
Nabigla ako kasi akala ko di na matuloy. Pero natuloy naman pala... Well 2 days lang instead of 5?KAKAYANIN. Pupunta ako kasi gusto ko malaman kung hanggang saan ba talaga ang nalalaman ko sa programming. Go Fight!

Empake MODE

Pagkagising...Empake na agad, ung mga pasalubong nilagay na sa bag...ung mga di na gagamitin for this week nasa bag na. Picture2x narin dito as a remembrance. Work mamaya graveyard kame kea need ko i ready ang baon (fudgee bar at kape). Hahaha...sauli ko na ang laptop...galit na si madam...

I ate a whole chicken alone. with 4 rice. Hahahaha i love this day. We had a picture2x moment in hubport (even the restricted area...hahaha). Happy lang...uuwi na eh...

Last Monday na...

Whew last monday na pala namin sa Davao... Kaya kumain ako ng minute burger ulet... sana meron ganito sa zambo. wahahahhaha :P sarap. Unti-unti nang nilalabhan ang mga gamit para maka empake narin. Muni2x mode kung ano ang mga natutunan namin dito. "ANG DAME PO"... weeeeeee ty...

SM Sunday

WAH! 1000 php budget papuntang SM, NAg promise kasi ako sa inaanak ko (elsa's daughter Jewel("joel" tawag ko wahahah!)). na babawi ako sa mga namiss kong occasion sa kanila. Like binyag, birthday, christmas and newyear. We bought a cute jacket with hood para sa kanya with a reasonable price naman... Penk color!
Then nag canvas ako ng mga pang pasalubong sa 2 pamanking, mother and flower. :) wahahahha mahal....uwi na kame then post this entry.

Water World Drawing

Wahahahha sabi na nga ba...drawing nanaman,..ung iba kasi wizz na dadatz an ung iba naman tinatamad. Nagshopping nalang sila ng pasalubong for their families while ako naman at nung iba. Babad sa TV and tulog after posting this blog entry... :)

Early Dismissed sa graveyad!

Wala masyadong work ngaun. After doing the work that has been endorse to us we went back to sysad office and Sir Rene ask us to install a 64 bit windows 7 professional sa mga new units. It was 2 am already when suddenly Sir Rene told us that wala palang 64 bit installer kinakailangan pa nyang mag download sa microsoft website(legal ha!~ kasi may account ang hubport). It will take 3 hours + using the internet speed of hubport to download the 3gyg ISO file. While waiting tinanong kami ni Sir Rene kung me gagawin ba kami sa saturday. Sabi namin parang meron kasi nag paplan sila pumunta sa Water World, para celebration ng last saturday sa davao. Sabi ni Sir Rene i dismiss nya kami early pero babawi kame sa work on monday. We said yes right away!(xempre!!!). When we arrive home only arrif was awake and he was shocked! hehehehe sino ba naman...?dba? Well off to bed muna after posting this.

Exam sa Graveyard

After a while graveyard ako ulit... heheheh masaya to...ung real schedule ko is 3 -11 but Sir Rene promise us na bibigyan nya kame ng exam on how to setup a server from scratch - from installation to login ng mismong user. Kaya sumama ako, to test if tama ba ung pagkakaintindi ko. I was surprise na ako yung una sa exam. So I went and install a windows server 2003 just like what Sir Rene instructed me. I configured the active directory, DNS and DHCP and then configured the router with the given configuration. It took me 2+ hours (including format and installation) to set it up and then created a user for raouf to try on. On the first try the connecting(client) computer cannot detect the server that i installed. Based from what i did, i followed all the steps on how to set a server. Then i told Sir Rene that it could be the wire the utp cable must be the one that is defective because it looks like an old one. We look for a new UTP cable and tried it once more. I was not wrong it worked! and i was relief that what i have learned here was correct and i can(did) apply it on the exam. Wah... dito na lang ako sa graveyard. hehehehe :)

Dia de Davao

Sa bahay lang ako ngaun. Kahit almost half ng mga tao dito ay naglakwatsa. Ok lang man kasi, nagbukas na ang bakery sa baba at bumili kami ng "TINAPEY". At nilantakan ko ang 8 hotdog 3 pancit canton at 3 tinapay kasama ang 1.5 L na icetea. BURP~!

i3 and i5

Today we were given a task to document and format the new units that were bought by hubport. Sir Niko was assigned and given us the authority to handle the task with his supervision. There were 6 i3 system unit and 2 i5 system unit. 7 unit were done already when the 7 - 11 group came in. It was a great day... rest mode na...elsa will use this laptop..galit na si ma'am.

New Shiftmates Again

My new shift mates for 3 to 11. Amina Darwis and Butchi. It was a good start we  were given a task to create a powerpoint presentation and encode some paperworks. The time passed by so fast, it was at exactly 11 pm when i finished my task. I gave the papers to sir Nhardz and let him sign the OJT time sheet and the DTR. We went home and took a rest. I will call it a night now...:)

After Doing my Laundry i slept all day and woke up to post this. I cannot post a lot because the owner will use the laptop... :)

Saturday OK!

Weee after watching the morning news and saw that the tsunami warning brought down I felt glad for us. Thank god we are safe, i cooked my remaining 2 pancit canton and bought 10 hotdog (halal) and ate them all... Heheheheh..sleep mode...

Chicken Tsunami

Wah! Poor Japan..."Natures Wrath!". . .

After eating at chicken tsunami 33 php unlimited rice. We heard about the earthquake in japan that triggers a tsunami. When we got home i watch the evening news and i read that davao is at level 2. We are a little bit worried but if its gods will that it will hit davao then we cannot do anything but try to save our selves. We stayed at the 3rd floor of our apartment. And waited for the news if there will be evacuations. I called my mother so that she will not worried. I tried to calm her down, she has a high blood pressure so i dont want here to get worried.

Whew... overnight mode and observe.

Early Dismiss Thursday

We were dismissed early today, Sir Rene really knows how to make us happy hehehehe. I bought some noodles for the night. Gutum eh? hehehehe

Programming Mode muna...

The Result

Wah! we waited for 45 minutes and then ma'am Grace came out. She told us about the result, i passed the exam for VB.Net and Ray for PHP but we can still change. Although i like VB.NET but i want to learn more in web development using open source applications. I was glad that it came out well. Ma'am grace told us that we will be having a 5 days try out to see if our skills can match or is the one that hubport is looking for. Also sir Vega is qualified in PHP. She told us that we can start our tryout next week depending on the availability of the unit.

This was a great day, ray is laughing when ma'am grace went back to HR office, he told me that why did they choose him in php, his answer was somehow lack of codes. But we laugh it out and think of our friend in programing if they were just here we could be having the same result(i know it...^_^).

Sleeping early...

T for Tuesday

WHEW! No result yet. Still waiting for the result, this will be the only way to know if what i have learn in programming is right. I hope so...

Today Sir Rene taught us on how to install VMWare. They are having trouble if the server is installed using vmware they cannot access the server. So Sir Rene decided to clean install it on a unit and we need to study it...

No Result Yet

Hmmm...Monday...The first day of the week. When we arrived at hubport i asked ma'am Grace about the result but she told me that the exam is being submitted to the ACCEDEO(Imba programmers/Master) programmers for checking. I worried that they might find my approach in the exam a little bit beginner type(noob ba...). She told me that she will inform us tomorrow or on Wednesday regarding the result. I'll be waiting...

Today Sir Rene taught us on how to install active windows server 2003, active directory, DHCP and DNS. This is needed when you are creating a server network. It was a great night/day with almost 2 hours of break time too. :p

Typical Saturday

Whew after "labada mode" i took the laptop and practice some new techniques that i saw in HUBPORT. I conducted a research and try some. It went well but i still need to learn more. :)

EXAM DAY

Finally Exam day, we took the exam at almost 5 pm in the afternoon. We took it inside the lecture room, i took it and answered all 4 questions in 15 mins or less. And then spend some time to review my answers which was helpful. After the exam we were told that the result will be given to us as soon as possible. I hope we can pass the exam for the try out.

Review Mode

Okay www.w3schools.com mode. After the duty i rush and borrowed Elsa's laptop and start my review. Sir Vega is also staying late to review for tomorrow and also Ray. I started a review on PHP, VB.net (my personal favorite "string manipulation") and SQL. It was around 3 am when i decided to call it a night. Good luck :)

On Friday?

Wah! Today i went to hubport to take the exam. When i got to sir Jay he asked about Ray if we are going to take together. I said Ray said that he will be taking the exam on friday. Sir Jay told me that we can take it on Friday together. So i went back to my duty and still doing what im always doing inside the operation department. I observe. ^_^

"Fahad" is a treat?

We arrive at hubport at exactly 3 pm. It was a close one for being late. We waited for the morning shift to sign out and then we went in.

We we're assigned to the Operation department to get any concerns inside and then report it to sysad. It was nearly 6 pm when James came in and told me that i am needed at HR. I was shocked and James didn't told me anything. When i got there it i saw Sir Francis and this guy that i saw at the EXO department. They introduce me and the EXO guy approach me and offered his hand to shake and said "I'm Sir Jay".I introduced my self and he was asking if there is a nick name that he can call me instead of my name. Because to him it is hard to pronounce and he joked that "You name is a treat already!hehehehe". I told him you can call me Fahad or Fhadz. He preferred Fahad though. Then he asked me if i know programming and i said yes. He then took a paper from ma'am grace table and told me to take an examination right at this moment. I ask him if is its hands on or written, he said it is writen. But, it is not just the correctness of the program whats matter it is the approach and the technique you use. I was a little bit worried because i was not ready. I took the paper and read it, then he asked where is the other one Ray Morados?We told him that he is assigned in graveyard shift. Sir Jay told me that i can take the exam tomorrow with Ray. I was glad that i can prepare for the exam. When I got back to the Operation Department my hands were cold. Alberto and Raouf told me that i look pale and my hands are cold. I told them what happened.

When we were about to sign out i told ray. And when i got home i told sir Vega and he is also interested. I need to review. I will after this blog. Good Luck to us!
